The design theory behind the logo goes something like this. My aim was to depict a meeting of both traditional and digital forms of media used in the creation of art assets for interactive entertainment. In reading from left to right, the two groups symbolize the progression from traditional to digital media. When presented together in symmetry on the same ground, they are held with equal value. The positioning of the tools in an upward and outward direction symbolizes our positive and proactive approach to learning through outreach and active participation in group and industry events. The structure of the design is explosively dynamic, symbolic of the strong passion, unbridled enthusiasm, and drive that fuels our quest to better ourselves, to perfect our craft, and to pioneer new realms in our trade.
